To Rosa Parks

Dear Ms. Parks,

I am writing you to you today because I greatly appreciate all the work and the hardships you have overcome to allow everyone to have the same opportunities no matter what race, religion or sexuality. I appreciate your courage in bravery I myself can not image doing such a thing in such a dangerous time- sitting in the front of the bus at a time when that was unheard of I truly admire you. Were you scared? I would have been scared of people hurting me or the horrible things they would say. You however had the courage and audacity to do just that. You were key figure in the overall civil rights movement without you I doubt things would be the same as they are today.

Thank you,

Maria
