Abraham Lincoln to Jefferson Davis --Creative Writing
Dear Jefferson Davis,
I am writing you today to seek an end to this devastating, and fatal war. For four years this war has raged on. I firmly believe that you and your states should come to join my country once again. I believe that if you join us once again we can resolve our disagreements, and truly become one nation. Both of us have already sustained immense tragedies not only in people but also supplies, land, and resources. If we continue at this rate there will be nothing left for your children and their children to come home too.
Sincerely,
Abraham Lincoln
