How Mars Came To Be

Journey of Cooperation Through the Stars
(creation myth for English)
Long ago back when there were still people on Earth, and Mars was nothing but a red dot in the sky just waiting to be discovered. The people of earth had been trying to develop a way to live on Mars, back when the people of Earth had life on only one planet. A very wealthy and powerful man decided to fund the mission of the century, he would send 1,000 normal humans to the big red planet. It was the mission of the century, as the morning of the launch approached many people many people gathered to say goodbye to the 1,000 people boarding the ship.  As the ship launched legend says you could see Mars in the sky just as the ship took flight. As they flew through the sky through millions of stars and planets, legend says that they could see the spirits of the people who were going to live on mars for many years today. As they flew through the skies many arguments started to break out. Many people disagreed on how they should land the ship. Some wanted to land the ship upright, straight on Mars, while others wanted to hover over Mars for a few days to figure out the exact right way to land the ship. The problem being is if they waited to land the ship they could possibly loose fuel, making it impossible to land the ship at all. As they argued and argued a fight broke out, during the fight a man was thrown into the landing gear causing the gears to break. Stop! Yelled one of the captains. For the captain had realized what had happened. One of the legs that was supposed to land the ship had broken off. Many despaired that their mission was over along with their life, but the captain did not let them give up hope. Using the oxygen tanks as a leg they 1,000 constructed a new landing land, and safely landed the ship on Mars. Showing us that even 500 years ago if you work as a team you can accomplish things that you never thought possible.
